This blog was created to share all the tips and tricks for raising a dachshund that I WISHED I KNEW! I simply could not find answers for a lot of these things online. But, I want you to have all your questions answered.
Growing up, I always wanted a dog of my own. I’ve wanted one since I was 5!
In 2008, I got my dachshund you see in the picture above. His name is Ralph. He is my first dog and it was a steep learning curve learning how to take proper care of him.
I got a BS in Animal Behavior in 2012 from Duke University. I always the classes talking about dogs!
I still take care of him and he takes care of me.
